PPO is one of the services provided by Grupo STT, as per its acronym in English it means
Payroll Process Outsourcing and consists of outsourcing payroll processes, considering that
talents from the optics of employer’s responsibility are related to the client company that
acquires the service.
This is a very important and fundamental process in any company as it is the compensation
of talent; a company like Grupo STT, where we have years of experience and responsibility
undertaking processes and separate the client from the process operability. We take care of
the administration and preparing your company’s payroll calculations, in full compliance of
the law and its special requirements; our coverage is regional, with expert staff in each
country. All the process is carried out in an automated way; this allows us to present to you
security and confidentiality of the information, an excellent process management and
accuracy of results in time and form.
Initially the service portfolio is well defined and delimited, and then the different work teams
derive from these to execute and support the different lines of business; in this sense we
have a well developed structure, expert talents and technological tools that allow and
facilitate the execution of processes in an efficient way.

formalization service, subsequently with the implementation phase, set-up and continuity
during the business cycle with Grupo STT.

This service has several benefits among which we mention:

Also, the process is simple and effective; it is coordinated together with the implementation
area through a schedule or project plan with tasks, people in charge and dates to start the
project.
The client accompanied and with the instructions and templates shared by STT completes
and shares data to be migrated to STT’s calculation systems. The data is validated so that is
consistent, correct and complete.
The previous information is transferred to STT’s systems. The setting is prepared and all the
elements of the client’s payroll are configurated. Once the previous step has been carried
out, the running exercise in parallel with the client’s current payroll is undertaken to compare
and make the required adjustments. The whole process is assumed; standard time for this
phase is 2 months.
Like in the implementation phase we have all the processes designed and documented and
we work based on a schedule previously established with the client, in the same all the
activities of the payroll cycle as well as the dates on which each must be met are set out:
- Incidents sent by the client.
- Appropriate reviews and approvals.
- Initiation and processing of payroll.
- Review and validation (control points).
- Client delivery.
- Approval on the part of the client.
- Closing of the calculation cycle.
- Issuance of reports for payment to talents.
- Generation of reports to institutions, approvals and presentations.
- Payment receipts are generated and sent.
- Attention to queries or requests for new requirements is always open.
- The process starts again for the next payment cycle; the process is similar for the
other processes either annual as Christmas bonuses of for calculating vacations or
settlements.
Technology certainly is our best ally; we have secure and robust systems so that the
process can be undertaken in an automated way, within the main systems for PPO service
we have the following:
- Payroll Software or Calculation Engines: It is the system where Grupo STT
manages the client’s data to carry out calculations and generate information
packages (payroll reports, governmental entities, bank line, accounting entry and
additional reports required).
- DPM: It is the tool where the information shared with the client circulates back and
forth. This solution grants 1 license to the client (person of TH, the main contact
designated by the client as responsible of communication and authorized to send,
receive, request data and approve everything related to payroll) and is trained during
the implementation phase so that it can upload and maintain all project information.
- BI: To carry out or develop additional customized reports with certain characteristics
and specifications from the client. Also it is secure and encrypted from start to finish,
with which data shared between Grupo STT and the client is maintained in
confidentiality.
