In the recent episode of the Grupo STT podcast, we were joined by Patricia Ricaurte, Project Manager from Colombia, and Nicole Madeiros, Project and Billing Analyst from Brazil. Both shared valuable insights about Thinking Room, a space designed to foster creativity and innovation within the organization.
The Emergence of Thinking Room
Patricia explained that the idea for Thinking Room arose from the need for different areas of the company to find a place to discuss projects and channel their proposals. “We identified that there were many projects in mind, but no appropriate space to address them,” she commented. This approach seeks not only to give voice to collaborators but also to facilitate interdepartmental collaboration.
Advantages of the Committee
- Fostering Creativity: A dedicated space for reflection can stimulate new ideas and innovative approaches.
- Sense of Belonging: Listening to employee suggestions strengthens commitment and connection to the company.
- Improvement of Collaboration: Facilitates communication and teamwork among different departments.
- Problem Solving: Allows for discussing challenges and seeking solutions together.
- Learning Culture: Promotes an environment that values experimentation and continuous learning.
- Adaptation to Change: Encourages the company’s ability to respond quickly to new market trends.
Projects and Improvement Proposals
Patricia mentioned that various types of projects can be proposed in this space, such as:
- Innovation: Development of new solutions and products.
- Process Improvements: Optimization of operational processes.
- Digital Transformation: Implementation of emerging technologies.
- Sustainability: Proposals related to social responsibility.
- Talent Development: Initiatives to improve the work environment.
- Business Strategies: New lines of business and partnerships.
Presenting Ideas
No idea is too small! The first step to presenting a proposal is to complete the form on the STT intranet.
“Join the Thinking Room and be part of the change. Every idea can make a difference.”
