When an anniversary is celebrated, it is a cycle that closes and another that begins. This process helps us both to be able to look back and be proud of all that we have achieved and to prepare us for new challenges.
Grupo STT began its work in Costa Rica on August 8th, 1999, initially offering accounting and personnel outsourcing management services. Over the years, we developed our businesses and started opening subsidiaries in Central America and then in other countries around the world.
Therefore, in this article we are going to talk a little about the history of our company through an interview with some of the collaborators who have the most time working in STT. We had the opportunity to speak with:

Guadalupe: “Would definitely give merit to the growth and involvement of the HR area which has had an important participation in recent years. Another important point is the optimization of processes through technology, which has allowed us to carry out a better follow-up control of the different departments. The certifications under which the company is currently governed within the scope of ISO 27001 and also the issue of Ethics and Regulatory Compliance. Finally, I could mention that it has definitely been a company that is always in constant search of continuous improvement.”
Daniela: “The company was very manual in its processes; it was almost not known at the market level. Today we are more organized at the system level and that systematization has also helped us. However, we are already being known even more in different markets.”
Rebeca: “When I started working for STT, the company was already well consolidated, however, in recent years we have grown exponentially so it has been necessary to implement several processes, strengthen the organizational structure to ensure compliance with deliverables for each of our clients in the different countries where STT operates. “
Kattia Campos: “STT has been a company of constant changes, I remember initially when I entered the company it did not have the process we currently have in Quality Management Systems and it did not have other certifications at the local level; there was also a change of systems to a more robust and integral one that helps us to work in the cloud. “
Kathia Calderon: “When I arrived in Dominican Republic, we were four people and today we have two offices, one in a free zone with a total of staff between both offices of 31.”
What could you say to a person who is about to enter STT?
Guadalupe: “STT is a company with many opportunities for growth, with a very pleasant social environment. It is a school from which you learn something new every day. There are always challenges and if you have the ability to adapt and above all to solve daily challenges, you will definitely be in the right place.”
Daniela: “That the person who enters the company comes to grow and learn and this is one of the best companies in which I have worked.”
Rebeca: “That STT is the best place to develop professionally, that it is a school with lessons of great value for your professional growth and enjoy the experience because STT after a while without you noticing becomes your second family.”
Kattia Campos: “I would completely recommend a person to work here, since the company always seeks to potentiate talents and create stability, in addition STT is a great school where every day you learn, and if as a professional you like to take on challenges this place is ideal. “
Kathia Calderon: “Enjoy every moment because you learn a lot and you will enter a very professional company with a lot of experience, as if you know how to take advantage of the opportunity you will grow as a person and as a professional.”
Grupo STT in the future
Guadalupe: “I envision STT being a very successful and renowned company, even more than it is already today, with a very considerable high capacity for potential growth. With new services and trends to offer the market, as well as technological innovations that lead it to further optimize its processes.”
Daniela: “As a company highlighted among its competitors due to its attentions and added values that others do not carry. I think that in several years we will be positioned among the first places in some countries.”
Rebeca: “STT will be at the top of the world leaders in the outsourcing sector because we are constantly reinventing ourselves and it is that synergy between the consolidation of what we have learned and the effort to always be at the forefront that will allow us to always win the race to success.”
Kattia Campos: “With many changes, new challenges and always seeking the best for the company.”
Kathia Calderon: “STT is every day more mature, with people who really appreciate the company and give the best, every day better than today, that is, always improving.”
