At STT Group it is important that you know how we can process your personal data and ensure that you have control and options over how we manage it.

Purpose of the Privacy Notice

The objective is to inform our employees, customers, suppliers, shareholders, collaborators, and all those interested in the STT Group’s services, the criteria for the collection, processing and transfers of personal data that reside in the STT Group’s databases.

What types of data are collected?

When visiting and using our Website, the following categories of Personal Data are collected:

International Transfer of Personal Data

The STT Group is an organization with subsidiaries located in several countries and for this reason it is possible that, depending on the type of service or contract concluded between us, some personal data may be processed in our various subsidiaries.

Exclusively automated decisions

Exclusively automated decisions are those in which a decision on a given subject is made by technological means and without human intervention.

In certain contracts, we may have some type of data processing based on automated decisions, but not exclusively.

For us, it is important that data subjects take into account that the STT Group’s automated decisions have constant review procedures by our technological team, with the aim that there is always human intervention in their processing, and as such, the final decision will not be automated.

In these cases, information about the purpose of said processing and the category of data involved is previously communicated to the data subject.

Personal data retention period

Personal Data will be processed and retained for as long as necessary and for the purpose for which they were collected, unless the applicable regulation requires a longer retention period.

Grupo STT may retain Personal Data for an additional period when the data subject gives consent to such processing, as long as this consent remains in force. Furthermore, STT Group will be obliged to retain personal data for an additional period whenever necessary to comply with a legal obligation or upon order of the authority.

Once the retention period has expired, personal data must be deleted.

Personal Data Security

The STT Group will take the necessary administrative and technological measures to provide security to the databases, aiming to protect personal data from unauthorized access and accidental or illicit situations of destruction, loss, alteration, communication or any form of inappropriate or illicit processment.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the STT Group does not guarantee the total security of your information nor it is responsible for any consequences of technical failures or improper entry by third parties into the database or files in which the personal data collected is stored.
